Marian Hutanu

I design and build custom websites and management software.

I look after the experience of the people who use them and the tools of the people who run them.

LUME

Boutique hotel website concept

From discovering the property to choosing a room. A website that lets the atmosphere breathe and makes the practical details easy to find.

Canone

Website for an aesthetic medicine practice

For William Petrini’s practice: from the face on the opening screen to a map linking each region to its treatments, so visitors can find their way before choosing.

In Italian

The opening screen of William Petrini’s website: a black-and-white profile on a dark ground, the surname Petrini in large letters and an Italian headline meaning “We don’t transform faces, we seek their harmony.”

Scosta

Concept website for a table lamp

The shell slides, revealing the light source. The website starts with this gesture and leads the eye to the lamp’s materials.

The opening screen of the Scosta website: the lamp with its red shell half open over the pale base, an Italian headline meaning “Move the shell.” and the original controls for adjusting the opening.

I built both management tools from scratch with a colleague, from database design to implementation.

Portrait of Marian Hutanu

About me

I’m Marian Hutanu, a full-stack developer. Since 2021 I have been designing and building web applications, mostly on the back end: databases, business logic, integrations and management tools for companies.

What interests me is where the different layers of a project meet: the experience of the people using a site, the interface that makes it clear, and the data and tools a business relies on every day. For me a project doesn’t stop at the page: it carries on into what makes it work.

How I work

  1. UnderstandI start from the people who will use the system: needs, steps, the data that already exists.
  2. DefineI propose a concrete solution, limited to what is really needed.
  3. BuildI build the interface, database and logic together, not in silos.
  4. CheckI make sure it works for the people who use it and those who run it, then I refine it.

Let’s talk about your project

A website, a management tool, something your business is missing: tell me what you need and I’ll reply personally. I work in Turin and its province, and remotely across Italy.

If it’s a good fit, I’ll suggest a short call to go through the details. Reaching out doesn’t commit you to anything.

Would you rather write directly?

Some fields need fixing: your name, a valid email address and at least 10 characters about the project. Go back in your browser to correct them; what you wrote is still there.

I couldn’t send the request. You can write to me directly at marian@marianhutanu.it.
